Antonio DeMarco
Antonio de Marco has frequented mechanical workshops and carpentry shops since he was very young; places that represent for him a continuous stimulus to seek, create and experiment with new ways of transforming matter. Passionate about how things are made, the elements they are made of, what and who they are used for; the objects he designs have the ambition of not fading over time, of settling into the memory of those who use them. He studied at the Polytechnic of Milan, at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and obtained a master's degree at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan. In addition to his design activity, he teaches in the Design Methodology master's course at NABA and at the Scuola Politecnica del Design in Milan. In his studio laboratory Antonio de Marco puts research, experimentation and design into practice, making it a place where one thinks with his hands.
