Alessandro Zambelli
Alessandro Zambelli studied industrial design and materials engineering at the Cova School of Design in Milan, beginning his career in 2000. After several years in Milan, he moved to the Mantua countryside, a region rich in history and atmosphere, which continually inspires his work.
Zambelli’s approach is characterized by his exploration of the interaction between humans, objects, and the environment, along with a passion for new technologies and materials. Over the years, he has ventured into various design fields, including industrial inventions, manual experimentation, installations, product design, industrial design, and creative direction.
His work embodies a design philosophy where different approaches converge, often intersecting to create innovative and experimental solutions. This philosophy has earned him numerous awards, such as the European Consumer Choice Award (2011), the NYIGF Award (2012), the ADI Award for Innovation (2014), the Interior Innovation Award (2015), and the Premio dei Premi (2015), established by the President of the Italian Republic.
Zambelli's designs have been exhibited internationally in Europe, the USA, China, Korea, and Japan. He continues to live and work in the inspiring environment of the Mantua countryside.
