Your house is built and now it's time to make it your own. Our in-house designer, Lua Henri, specialises in creating spaces that reflect your unique style. Whether you prefer classic or contemporary, Lua's expertise ensures that each room is not only beautiful but also a place you'll love to call home.
From start to finish, Lua is here to help. In just four sessions, she’ll assist you in planning and furnishing your home, covering everything from the floor to the ceiling and everything in between.
Need more than just furniture? Lua can assist you with spatial planning, window treatments, flooring finishes, lighting, soft furnishings, artwork, and custom joinery design.
How It Works
Session 1: Meet and Brief
It’s important to create a solid foundation before beginning a new project. By discussing your ideas, Lua can set the project in the right direction. She will review your architectural plans, get to know you and your home, andlearn about your design vision. After the meeting, a detailed design brief will help guide the design process.
SESSION 2: ZONING
Lua evaluates the accessibility and fluidity of movement in your spaces, resulting in a curated mood board that encapsulates your vision and elevates your confidence in making design decisions.
Meeting 3: Selections
Lua will ensure all decor and furnishing selections are proportional to the
size
of the room and tailored to your specific spaces, lifestyle, and
aesthetic preference. Her customised mood boards help you visualise how
the selections will look in your interior spaces.
MEETING 4: REVIEW AND QUOTATIONS
After reviewing and finalising space layouts, furnishings, and finishes, Lua can start the quotation process, and further meetings, if required, ar scheduled now. You are not obligated to make a purchase from Henri Living if you decide not to.
TOTAL COST: $500 inc GST
Consultations can take place at Henri Living or in the comfort of your home. Lua can also assist in selecting items from other retailers for a fee of $240 plus $250 per hour.
WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR DESIGN CONSULTATION
- Dimensioned plans, including floor plans and electrical layout plans.
- Imagery/inspiration for the design and selection process, such as
colours, textures, artwork, and furnishings styles. - Dimensions and images of furnishings and decor, such as specific pieces
and paintings you wish to keep and include in your new home. - Sample selections used in the build, including floorboards, carpet, wall colours, tiles in wet areas and outdoors, kitchen and appliance
selections, and any other feature built-in cabinetry
